As a key contributor to the Visibility and Collaboration IT efforts, you can implement ground-breaking Ford – Supplier collaboration efforts. Ford is seeking skilled, and bold professionals play a huge part in the innovation and development of systems solutions.

Scope
Looking for a Supplier Collaboration Techno-Functional guide to be the next piece in the Supply Chain Integration IT team. This individual will:

  • Interpret the requirements for the different Supply Chain business areas and support the implementation of the digital transformation solutions to meet and exceed business objectives and requirements!
  • Set the technical direction and implementation strategy with an end-to-end view, to deliver a Collaboration Platform!
  • Focus on software development and integrations to support the needs and expectations of internal collaborators and partners!

Position Responsibilities:

  • Function as a senior techno functional lead in the creation and implementation of supplier collaboration platform solutions to meet business and technology needs.
  • Understand multi-tier supplier collaboration solution gaps and be an advocate for collaboration platform fits in addressing the enterprise opportunities.
  • Evaluate new use case evaluation and development – Logistics, Quality, Sustainability, Design Optimization.
  • Apply prior Implementation expertise and play an active role in integrating, launching, and maintaining a healthy performing product.
  • Collaborate, Educate and Familiarize multi-functional partners with the platform standard methodologies with Control Tower, Material planning, AI/ML – predictive insights.
  • Lead in the identification of methods to test and validate the collaboration platform to provide impactful and quality products.
  • Share and relate experiences with Supplier onboarding on the collaboration platform and guide the team to develop a flawless intuitive onboarding of Suppliers.
  • Collaborate with external and internal technical peers (Product Managers, Product Designers, Software Engineers, Architects, and vendors) to design and validate technical approaches and designs.
  • Chip-in to build systems solutions that are optimized for performance, scalability, and security across the organization.
  • Keep awareness of technology advances and recommend innovative technical approaches consistent with Ford enterprise IT direction.
  • Contribute as a subject matter expert to maintain a readied backlog and enable the team to go further with effective usage of Rally/Jira.
  • Develop relationships and maintain a knowledge of the ecosystem.
  • Participate in team estimation, testing, triage, and integration issues.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science/Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field and a minimum 5 to 8 years of software development/implementation experience.
  • Shown experience implementing multi-tier Suppliers Collaboration Platforms like One Network, Blue Yonder, E2Open, and Resilinc and integrating other tools in an enterprise setting.
  • Experience with supply chain industry technologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for creating solutions with an Agile Mentality.
  • Ability to operate in an ambiguous environment with a curiosity towards new technologies and a strong desire to learn so that the team may benefit.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills and working with global teams.
  • Knowledge about API design standards, patterns, and best-practices to build robust and performing coordinated systems.

Nice-to-Have Skills/Experience:

  • Knowledge of Enterprise architecture and Cloud reference architecture concepts!
  • Experience with Agile concepts automated testing concepts, tools, and frameworks Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery techniques Agile Programming subject areas, including pair programming and Test-Driven Development.
  • Experience in IT capabilities for other Supply Chain functional areas. e.g. Warehousing/ Logistics, Order-to-Cash, and Procurement will be desirable.
  • A high degree of initiative, self-motivation, and ability to work autonomously.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading implementations on cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, and GCP.
